The M915 Line-Haul Tractor (Truck, Tractor, 14-ton, 6x4) is used by transportation units for the transport of bulk supplies from ports to division support areas within a theater of operation. Powered by the Cummins Model NTC-400 400BHP@2100rpm Big Cam I Engine with a Caterpillar 7155 Semi-automatic 16 Forward, 2 Reverse Gears Transmission. The M915 (M915A0) was introduced to active service in 1979.

The M915A2, introduced in 1990, manufactured by Freightliner, introduced an Automatic Braking System (ABS) and was based on the commercial FLD120 vehicle. The M915A2 was powered by the Detroit Diesel Series 60 Engine with 430HP, 1450 Lb-Ft torque and an Allison HD4560P 6 Speed Automatic Transmission.

Starting in 2009, Freightliner began delivery of the M915A5. The M915A5 is the first to offer armoring using the Army's A-Kit and B-Kit design strategy. The armor kits are deisgned and manufactured by BAE Systems. In addition to armor, the M915A5 features a larger cab to store combat gear, personal weapons and ammunition. The larger cab, combined with an upgraded electrical system, also provides the space and power for the robust C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence) packages now utilized on line haul trucks in combat.

The M916 20 Ton Light Equipment Transporters (LET) are primarily used to tow the M172A1 25-Ton Low-Bed Trailer and the M870 40-Ton Low-Bed Trailer.These rigs transport Engineer Construction equipment in the local, line-haul and maintenance evacuation missions on primary, secondary and off-road routes. The M916 is equipped with a winch to pull loads on-board.

Primarily used in the Construction and Combat Support Companies and the Combat Heavy Battalions, the M917 is equipped with a pusher axle for equalizing the load on the rear axles. M918 - Bituminous Distributor Truck

The M918 Bituminous Distributor Truck is a 22.5 Ton, 6X6, 1,500 Gallon Bituminous Distributor equipped with a burner, hydrostatically driven bitumen pump, hand-spray and spray-bar. The M918 was introduced in 1980 and utilizes the same 400BHP powertrain as other M915A0 Series Vehicles. The M918 can be used for other purposes such as applying highway de-icing liquids and watering-down dusty temporary roads. The pump can discharge up to 375 Gallons per minute.

M919 - Concrete Mobile Mixer Truck

The M919 Mobile Concrete Mixer Truck has a 22.5 Ton, 8 Cubic Yard capacity. It can transport dry concrete ingredients and water, mix the ingredients and discharge the mixed concrete through a discharge chute system. The M919 utilizes the same 400BHP powertrain as other M915A0 Series vehicles. The M919 has capacities of 63cuft of cement, 130cuft of sand, 187cuft of aggregate and 400 gallons of water.

M920 - Line Haul Tractor

The M920 Truck, Tractor Medium Equipment Transporter (MET), 8x6 with winch is used primarily to tow the compatible low-bed semitrailers, M172A1, 25-ton payload and the M870, 40-ton payload. The M920 is also known as the Truck, Tractor, 20-Ton. It is powered by the Cummins Model NTC-400, 400BHP@2100RPM Engine with a Caterpillar 7155 Air-Shift Semi-Automatic Transmission with 16 Forward and 2 Reverse Gears and Centrifugal Clutch. The M920's tires are 11:00 X 24 bias ply. The brakes are air exhaust, drum type. The M920 is equipped with a pusher axle for equalizing the load on the rear axles.
