Before
you
attempt
to
fold
the
blades, tho, disconnect the

pitch
control
rods
at
the
swashplate.
Otherwise, excessive loads will
be
transmitted back into the ³ixer from
the rotor head.
The result can be
cracKing and separation of the bear´
ing, which couLd become lodged in
the mixer and restrict control.
You'll find the detaIled bLadeµFold´
ing poop in Tasks 19 and 21 of the
³aintenance pu¶.

ing fitting in your bird. TSAºCOM

called for the removal of the b¼s¸¹
iNg retaining ring.
The

stalLed wrong ¶ecause it would fall
o¼t of the fitting without the ring to
hold it in place.
Make sure the bushing retaining
ring has been re³oved so that the
bushing can ÀnLy be instalLed with
the fLange on the bÁtRom, next to the
bolt head.
