You make sure the radio carries its
own weight by doing PM beFore, dur²

When audio contacts are getting that
glazed look, brighten them up by rUbµ
bing them with a r¶bber pencil eraser.
That helps guarantee good

contact.
Be sure your set is weatherprooF by
making sure all connector covers are
on hand and in place.
That includes the power shorting cap,

Be sure your antennas are in good
shapeÀ Screw one into its base. IF it's
not snug, trÁ a sliver oF rubber band
between the threads. IF that doesn't
