Then the shell assembly
must be replacEd.
But your A²S³ technician can ex´
tend the life of the shelL assembly.
Here's how:
Remove
the
booM
microphone
swivel assembµy Fom the helmet sheµµ.
Use #80 grIt sandpaper, ¶S¶ 5530·
00¸598¸5537, to roughen one surface

of the slotted washEr and the inside
sur¹ace of the heµMet sheµµ around the
attachment hoµe.

Clean both sanded surfaces with deº
naturEd alcohol, ¶S» 6505·00·299·
8095¼ ²et them dry.
Put a thin coat of adhesive, ¶S¶
8040·00·273¸8717½
on
both
sanded
surfaces. Aµlow the adhesive to dry 3
to 5 minutes befOre pressing the washer
against the inside of the helmet sheLL.
Reassemble
the
Mike
boom
and
swivel assembly. AlµoW the adhesive
2 hours to set and you're back iN busi¾
ness.
