When we dIsconnect our
KY,
we hook up the wiring to
the bypaSS mount So the FM
radioS will work. But that
createS a couple of problemS±
²irSt³ the mount can get bent
when we work in the batteR
compa´tment± µecond¶ the
electrical connectorS vibrate
LooSe and rattle againSt the
batte·Y compartment ¸loor±
µo we made an ¹-bracket
ºrom 0.032»in aluminum Sheet
to keep the connectorS off the
floor± Here are the
approximate dimenSionS of
the bracket:
