Dear Editor,
Some units send in oil samples to the
AOAP
lab with
incomplete DD Forms
2026.
That slows down the oil
sample process.
The only way the
AOAP
lab folks can get the needed
infOrmation is to call the unit±
Since the instructions in DA Pam
738-750
don't require
the sample taker to be identified on the DD Form
2026,
the
AOAP
fOlks don't know who to talk to² If they talk to the
wrong person³ they might get some wrong information²
I suggest having the sample taker put his or her signature
in the upper left hand coRer of the ´emarks blockµ That
way the
AOAP
lab person knows who to go back to for
additional information¶
