access cover on Bradley
suspension arms rusts so
badly It's frozen ±n place.
When you need to remove it,
it won't budge.
²'ve found the easiest way
to get the cover oF Is to drill
a hole ³n the cover center for
a jack screw´ Use a drill bit at
least
1±²³&
Inch in diameter so
the jack screw wonµt mess
up the torsion bar threads.
² use a
3-´6
UN¶ tap from
the No·
µ
Supplemental tool
set and a 31¸Ln cap screw¹
such as NSN
5¶05·00-082-
682¸.
That scRw is used to
mount the sprocket carrier
to the Bradley final drive.
The screw pushes against
the toºion bar and pulls the
access cover right off´
