We were running through a lot of night sight batte± power con-
ditioners (BPC) because TOW crews were forge²ting to tu³ them
oF at shutdown. The lithium ba²teries wouLd completeLy draIn and
have to be replaced. And they cost more than
$55.
The soLution was simple. We
taped a small sign saying TU´N
Oµµ BPC under the night sight
ON/Oµµ switch. Then, when
TOW gunners tu¶ oF the night
sight· they're reminded to tu¶
oF the BPC· too.
