The azimuth glmbal and the leg raIls on the GroundNehlcular
Laser Locator Designator's traversing unit (TU) bind when they
get dirty. Th± binding makes ²t hard to tu³ the GNLLD and to
adjust the wing nuts on
the legs.
Binding help is as close
as the nearest pencil
erase´ As you rotate the
GNLLD on the TU, erase
any diµ on the azimuth
gimbal¶ Do this until the
TU moVes smoothly.
Do the same thing with
the leg rails un·¸ the
wing nuts move easily up
and down¶
For good measure¹ spray dº graphite»
on the gimbal and rails to keep things moving freely.
