We have three M1031 contact maintenance trucks. On these
trucks, the fuel tank Is exposed to stones and other road hazards
thrown by the ±ar tires²
There is a smaLl pad on
the tank, but we've Found

We cured this problem
by mounting a mud ·Ap to
the bed oF the vehicle ³n

We cut a 19¹in x 14ºln

1¹ln band Iron¸ We drilled three ¼/½6¾n holes ³n the Iron¿ the rubber
