Dear Editor,
The pneumatic impact wrenches we use in our shop make one
heck of a racket. ±he loud noise is more than just annoying-i²S a
health hazard that can damage your heaRIng.
We found a way to cut down the noise by rolling up pieces of
scouRIng pad and putting them in the exhaust ports of the
wrenches. ³t's a simple remedy that won´t hurt the performance of
the wrench. Andµ it costs only pennies.
