The tool kIt for ML±S repairmen does not contain any tools for

working on launcher batteries. ±epairmen use what they have-

standard pliers and wrenches²and the clamps and posts are

chewed up by these tools³ That's when ML±Ss start having

electrical fault problems and batteries don´t last long³

Weµve found that spending a few dollars for ba¶te·Y tools saves

ba¶te¸¹es and troubleshooting. Our truck motor pool had extra

batte·Y servºce kºts, NSN 6140»01»192»9404¼ The kits have eve·Y

tool you need for batteries½ but cost over $40¾
