Bypass the Fuel
Dear EditoR
Even though the personnel heater in your ML±S isn't used du²Ing
summer months, fuel continues to circulate through the heater's
fuel pump.
This constant³ year-round pressure wears out the pump seals´
Before you know it, the pump starts leaking and you have to
replace it´
We prevent this extra wear by disconnecting the intake and
outfloµ quick¶disconnects and connecting them to each other·
Fuel continues to ¸loµ¹ but it bypasses the pump· Soº pump seals
last a lot longer·
Just remember to reconnect the QDs when it»s time to use the
personnel heater again´
