O
n Nov. 11, Veteran’s Day, America honors
its veterans.
From Chateau-Thierry to Omaha Beach,
Chosin Reservoir to the Gulf of Tonkin,
Kuwait to Kosovo, millions of men and
women have served in the armed forces of the
United States.
We have the utmost respect for all veterans,
whether they bore arms or repaired arms,
whether they fired cannons or cleaned can-
nons, whether they drove a truck or rebuilt a
truck. No matter. They are veterans. And so
are you.
We think of a veteran as a soldier who has
“been there and done that” many times—and
learned to avoid the pitfalls that trap many
others. One who makes the tough jobs look
effortless, because he or she is so experienced.
One who does the job right, because slipshod
work today could cost a life tomorrow. One
who learned early that you should always do
your best, no matter what job you’re given.
We at PS especially appreciate the veterans
of the preventive maintenance wars. You have
saved equipment and lives.
