A
lot of M203 grenade launchers are being dry-fired much too much.
Unnecessary dry-firing loosens the breech inserts. That means a DS trip to cure
‘em. If they’re not fixed quick, the breech face threads’ll be stripped. And you could
get primer brass in the firing
pin recess.
So-o-o, Grenadiers, dry-
fire your M203 only during
PMCS or to relieve spring
tension before storage.
