A
fter completing PMCS on a Bradley Fighting Vehicle, a staff sergeant failed to stand
clear as the engine cover was being lowered. It struck his arm, fracturing his wrist.
A private used his bare ±ngers to lift the floor boards on a Buffalo vehicle. He lost his
grip causing the boards to slip and crush his ±ngers. The tip of one ±nger was amputated
at the hospital.
Step away from possible hazards and keep an eye on moving equipment. When moving
heavy materials, wear your gloves and be wary of loads that might shift.
