Controller Reminder
Tidbits of Info
remember to keep your
hands off the robot’s
controller when you’re
booting up the Icu.
SORRY ABOUT
THAT.
.. HERE,
PUT THIS ON
YOUR EYE!
use
only
low-
pressure
air (30 psi)
to clean in
and around
the robot’s
battery
tray.
carefully check
for
missing
bogie
wheels and track
cleats.
make sure all the
cleats are at least
1
/
4-inch high.
also, grab
the track in
the
middle.
if it stretches
more
than 4
inches,
replace it.
use
only
dry
film lube spray
to lubricate
the detents
on the robot’s
flippers.
gets an 11-oz spray can.
do not
use
a wet oil to
lubricate the
detents.
that only
attracts
dust and
sand, causing
unnecessary
wear and
tear.
make sure the vehicle’s
payload cover is in
place, with no missing
screws.
that way
water
stays
out.
because playing around or
using the joysticks when
booting up will cause an
uncontrolled response…
…like a robot moving
off the work bench, or
its upper arm whacking
you upside the head!
