Dear Half-Mast,
TM Supplement SMI 5-1940-277-12&P-1 (Sep 04) for our MK2 bridge
erection boat has several part numbers with the code “CPS” beside them.
The part numbers don’t cross to an NSN and we can’t figure out what that
code means. How do we order those parts?
SSG R.H.W.
Dear Sergeant R.H.W.,
The “CPS” prefx you see
on those part numbers stands
For Cummins Power Systems,
the boat’s manuFacturer. CPS
parts were never provisioned,
so there are no NSNs. You’ll
need to order those parts
directly From Cummins.
