Special CARC-Painting Regulations

The following surfaces have to be kept free of CARC, overspray is not permissible:
•
restraint systems (seat belts)
I
•
electrical connections and terminals (plug connection)
•
radio and infrared wiring
•
voltage regulator box (wheeled vehicles)
•
turning signal sending unit including connections
•
piston rods
•
fitting and sealing areas
•
glass
•
door-windshield and access door sealing
•
steering wheel
•
plastic knobs and levers (interior of vehicle)
•
radiator fins
•
duct personnel heater, exhaust system

The following flexed materials are not to be painted, overspray is permissible (former remaining paint is
acceptable):
•
Wheeled vehicles
•
boot steering knuckle
•
brake hose rubber type
•
water hoses (on radiator, engine and personnel heating system)
•
air direction tubes on heating unit
•
intake hoses air filter turbocharger
•
wash and wiping system reservoir tubes
•
air-heating tubes (interior of vehicle)
•
actuating pedal pads (brake clutch etc)
•
boot power takeoff
•
boots on air supply connections
•
air intake hoses
•
splash-guard
•
hydraulic tubes
•
tires
•
cone belts
