GENERAL
The HEMTT Crew Protection Armor Kit consists of Side Armor (including Armored Doors),
Roof Armor, Transparent Windshield Armor, Three Blast Deflectors, One Upper and One Lower
Brush Guard, Rear Cab Armor Panels, an Armored Louvered Grille Assembly, and an Armored
Escape Hatch.
The Side Armor Attachment Assembly consists of an Armor Panel that is mounted to the vehicle
and is bolted in place.
The Armored Door (which incorporates a sliding armored window) is
bolted to the Side Armor Panel.
The Roof Armor Panel is installed using the existing bolt hole
pattern (used for the Machine Gun Mount) on the roof on the passenger side and the Mounting
