EXPENDABLE AND DURABLE SUPPLIES AND MATERIALS LIST

Section I.

INTRODUCTION

Scope.

This appendix lists expendable and durable items that are needed to operate and maintain the Air

Conditioner Kit.

This listing is for informational purposes only and is not authority to requisition the

listed items.

These items are authorized by CTA 50-790, Expendable/Durable Items (except medical,

Class V, repair parts, and heraldic items), or CTA 8-100, Army Medical Department Expendable/

Durable Items.

Explanation of Columns.

a. Item Number (Column (1)).

This number is assigned to the entry in the listing and may be

referenced in the narrative instructions to identify the item (e.g., “Use detergent, general

purpose, Item 4, Appendix D”).

b. Level (Column (2)).

This column identifies the lowest level of maintenance that requires the

item.

One of the following codes appears in Column 2:

C - Operator/Crew Maintenance

O - Unit Maintenance

F - Direct Support Maintenance

c. National Stock Number (Column (3)).

This is the national stock number assigned to the item.

Use it to requisition the item.

d. Item Name, Description, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, and Part

Number (Column (4)).

This provides the other information needed to identify the item.

e. Unit of Measure (U/M) (Column (5)).

This code shows the physical measurement or count of

an item, such as gallon, gross, etc.
