TORQUE LIMITS

I-1.

SCOPE.

This appendix provides torque limits for general use type fasteners.

The torque values given in this appendix shall be

used when specific torque values are not identified in the maintenance instructions.

I-2.

TORQUE LIMITS.

Torque limits for fine threaded fasteners as compared to coarse threaded fasteners of the same diameter are slightly

higher, but are not significant to general use.

The following table identifies the torque limits for

various sizes and types of fasteners.
