Before performing maintenance, ensure that semitrailer is secured against movement.

When lifting heavy parts, have someone help you. Ensure that lifting or jacking equipment is working
properly, is of sufficient capacity for the assigned task, and is secure against slipping.
COMMON TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT
For authorized common tools and equipment, refer to the Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) (WP 0139) and to
the Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) applicable to your unit.
SPECIAL TOOLS, TMDE, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT
Special tools are listed and illustrated in the RPSTL (WP 0097). TMDE and support equipment are listed in the
Maintenance Allocation Chart (MAC) (WP 0139).
