GENERAL.
This chapter describes the Unit maintenance
tasks to be performed on the M870/M870A1
semitrailers.
4-2. COMMON TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT.
Common tools and equipment
are issued to Unit maintenance
personnel for maintaining the M870/M870AI.
Common
tools and equipment
should not be used for purposes other than those prescribed and should be properly stored when
not in use. Refer to the Modified Tables of Organization
and Equipment (MTOE) for authorized common tools and
equipment
applicable to your unit.
4-3. SPECIAL TOOLS, TMDE, AND SUPPORT EQUIPMENT.
The M870 requires no special tools, TMDE, or support equipment.
See Appendix E, Section 111,
for special tools for
the M870A1.

Repair parts are listed and illustrated in Appendix
E of this manual.
