Using bar and stud and spring compressor, compress spring retainer (7) and remove snapring (6) from housing

(4).

Remove bar and stud and spring compressor, spring retainer (7), and 20 springs (8) from fourth clutch piston (9).

NOTE

Fourth clutch piston is marked A, B,

or C.

If replacement Is necessary,

replace only with piston having same

marking.

5.

Remove fourth clutch piston (9) from housing

(4).
