Pull lever to “tailgate open” position as shown in Figure 2. This releases jaws holding bottom pins of
tailgate as shown in Figure 3.
4. Refer to vehicle Operator Manual (TM 9-2320-273-10) for instruction on how to accomplish the
following:
a.
Start vehicle engine.
b.
Set hand throttle so engine maintains sufficient rpm.
c.
Engage PTO.
d.
If dump body leans or shifts check for:
Flat tires or low air pressure
Weak or broken spring leaves
Wheel sinking unevenly
High or gusty wind
e.
Find and correct the problem before you finish dumping. Do not attempt to dump in high winds.
