Remove rings, wristwatches, neck chains, and any other jewelry before working

around vehicle.

Jewelry can catch on equipment and cause serious injury.

Jewelry

and tools may short across electrical circuits and cause damage to equipment, or

severe burns or electrical shock to personnel.

Step 9.

Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position (WP 0007).

Remove cab instrument

panel C (WP 0311).

Disconnect cab instrument panel wire harness pass flood switch

wire harness connector from PASS FLOOD switch.

Disconnect wire 1147 (violet) from

passenger side extendable floodlight relay (WP 0373). Install jumperwire between wire

1147 (violet) and a known good ground.

With a test lead set, check for continuity across

wire 1147 (violet) from PASS FLOOD switch wire harness connector, terminal 5 to a

known good ground.

If continuity is present, go to Step 13.
