NOTE

Hold lock spacer plates to prevent them from falling inside door.

4.

Remove self-locking screw (9), door lock mechanism (8), and two lock spacer plates (10) from door (3).

Discard self-locking screw.

5.

Remove cotter pin (11), pin (12), and clevis (13) from outer door handle (14).

Discard cotter pin.

NOTE

Locknut may come off stud or stud and locknut may come off together.

6.

Remove locknut (15) and stud (16) from inner door handle (17).

Discard locknut.

7.

Remove door handle retainer (18) from inner door handle (17).

8.

Remove inner door handle (17) from door (3).

9.

Remove cotter pin (19), pin (20), and door handle lever (21) from cable (22).

Discard cotter pin.

10. Loosen two jamnuts (23) on cable (22) and outer rod (24).

11. Remove two clevises (6) and (25) and jamnut (23) from cable (22) and outer rod (24).
