10. Apply silicone lubricant on preformed packing (12) and install preformed packing (12) on nut (10).

11. Apply silicone lubricant on preformed packing (11) and install preformed packing (11) on nut (10).

12. Position nut (10) on control cable (3).

NOTE

Install collar on control cable as noted prior to removal.

13. Install collar (9) on control cable (3) with set screw (8).

14. Install two rubber collars (6) and (7) on control cable (3).

NOTE

Install collar on control cable as noted prior to removal.

15. Install collar (5) on control cable (3) with set screw (4).

Wear safety goggles and use care when installing snap rings and retaining rings.

Snap rings and retaining rings are under spring tension and can act as projectiles

when released and can cause severe injury.

16. Install cable eye swivel (2) on control cable (3) with snap ring (1).
