INTRODUCTION
Section 1. GENERAL INFORMATION
1-1. Scope.
This is an Operator’s Manual and supports the Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck
(HEMTT) Tanker Aviation Refueling System, model number 50-0051. The system is used to dispense
aviation fuel to from one to four aircraft. Throughout this manual the HEMTT Tanker Aviation Refueling
System (HTARS) shall be referred to as the equipment. (See Figure 1-1).
