Reduce engine speed to an idle.
Check that idle speed returns to
700-750 rpm.
If engine speed does not return to
700-750 rpm, adjust accelerator link-
age (page 7-300).
Engage accelerator lock with engine
running.
Check that engine rpm remains the
same when foot is removed from ac-
celerator pedal. Adjust accelerator
linkage, if required (page 7-300).
