c. Electrical System.
The electrical system (fig. 2-4) is a 24-volt dc system .
Two 12-volt storage batteries are connected in series with the negative terminal
grounded.
The engine starter motor operates directly from the 24-volt source. The
system uses a belt-driven, 24-volt generator having an output capacity of 25 amperes.
A battery-generator indicator is located on the instrument panel. Wiring harnesses
are used to carry current to operate equipment and accessories.
Circuit breakers are
included to protect circuits from overload.
