Failure to do this may result in injury to personnel an d

damage to equipment .

All old lubricant must be taken off bearings during clean -

ing .

Soak bearing as long as needed to take off all ol d

lubricant .

Soak bearing cone (1) .

Rinse bearing cone (1) in clean solvent .

WARNIN G

Do not dry bearing with compressed air. Spinning bear -

ings may explode and cause serious injury to personnel .

Let bearing cone (1) air dry .

Using clean rags, wipe all old grease from inside hub (2) .
