Truck parked on level ground, engine off ,

handbrake set .

Preliminary Procedure. Remove rear wheel .

Refer to TM 9-2320-209-10 .

Removal .

1 .

Using 3/4-inch wrench, unscrew and take off eight capscrews and eigh t

lockwashers (1) .

2 .

Take out axle shaft assembly (2) and gasket (3). Throw away gasket (3) .
