HOT WATER PERSONNEL HEATER MOTOR RESISTOR REMOVAL AND

REPLACEMENT.

TOOLS:

Flat-tip screwdriver

SUPPLIES: Tags

PERSONNEL: One

EQUIPMENT CONDITION:

Truck parked, engine off, handbrake set.

a. Preliminary Procedure. Disconnect battery ground cable. Refer to Part 1,

para 7-58.

b. Removal.

FRAME 1

1.

Using screwdriver, unscrew and take off two screws (1). Let heater motor

resistor (2) hang down.

NOTE

Tag wires (3) so they can be put back in the same places.

Using screwdriver, unscrew and take off two screws (4) and two wires (3).

3.

Take out heater motor resistor (2).
