Repair. For procedures to repair air intake and exhaust manifolds, refer to

TM 9-2815-210-34.

Replacement.

1.

Put three ring seals (1) on front exhaust manifold section (2). Stagger gaps

one-third of a turn apart.

2.

Heat center manifold section joint (3) and push front manifold section (2) into

center manifold section (4).

3.

Aline gasket sealing surfaces (5).

4.

Do steps 1, 2, and 3 again on rear exhaust manifold section (6).
