Put safetylatchscrew (1)through safetylatch(2)intobase (3).

2.

Put lockingplungerlever(4)inplace onstud (5).

3.

Put on nut and washer (6). Put in cotterpin (7).

NOTE

On some trucks,lockingassemblysleeve(8)is

weldedintoplaceand was not removed.

4.

Put lockingassemblysleeve(8)on stud (9).
