locking pins are defective, repair or replace as required

required (para. 3-270).

Lubricate hood trunnion every 3,000 mi. (4,800 km) or
3 months, whichever occurs first.

splits, missing or damaged insulation, or poor
cable
connections. Repair affected wiring (para. 3-131).

Check two front engine mounting trunnion screws

loose, notify your supervisor.

Tighten five lower trunnion mount screws 65-75 lb-ft
(88-102 N·m).

On M939A2 series vehicles, check two front mounting
locknuts for tightness. Tighten mounting locknuts
75-85 lb-ft (102-115 N·m).
