Two screw-assembled lockwashers (Appendix D,

Antiseize compound (Appendix C, Item 10)
Drycleaning solvent (Appendix C, Item 71)
Lubricating oil (Appendix C, Item 50)
Antiseize tape (Appendix C, Item 72)
Do not disconnect air lines before draining air
reservoirs.
Drycleaning solvent is flammable and toxic. Do
not use near open flame.
Keep fire extinguisher nearby when using
drycleaning solvent.
Hold down unloader valve assembly during
removal.
When cleaning with compressed air, wear
eyeshield and ensure source pressure does not
exceed 30 psi (207 kPa).
Do not disconnect air lines before draining air reservoirs. Small
parts under pressure may shoot out with high velocity, causing
injury to personnel.

Disconnect coolant outlet line (1) from elbow (5) on air compressor (2) and elbow (15) on engine oil
cooler (16). Discard bushings (14).

Remove elbow (5) from air compressor (2).
