e. Installation

1.

Attach gear unit lifter to gear unit main shaft (12).

2.

Carefully lower gear unit (13) into transmission housing (14) with hoist. Ensure all gear teeth (15)

mesh.

3.

Remove gear unit lifter from gear unit main shaft (12).

FOLLOW-ON TASK: Install center support (para. 5-50).
