Mismatched tires will make truck handle

poorly and may cause accidents. All tires

on an axle should have the same diameter,

1/8 inch (3.2 mm). When replacing a

tire, measure it and the other tires on the

axle to be sure that the distances from top

to bottom do not vary by more than 1/4

inch (6.4 mm). Use a depth gage to

measure tires.
