REMARKS

At temperatures at or below 0°F, the

cooler must be disconnected from the

power steering fluid system. Failure to

do so may cause the cooler tubing to

rupture. The proper procedure is to dis-

connect one hose (12) which runs from

the steering gear to the cooler (20) and

reconnect same to the hydraulic pump

and reservoir assembly (3). Then, the

hose from the cooler to the reservoir

should be taken off and reconnected to

the cooler input per illustration below.
