Inspect ends for:

a. Burrs.

b. Cracks.

c. Distortions.

Check for free movement

and a good seal to top of

exhaust stack (5).

Position on exhaust stack

(5) and tighten nut (2).

Slide into muffler (3).

Tighten.

Start up (see TM 9-2320-

273-10).

Listen for leaks, and

tighten U-clamp nuts (4)

as necessary.

Shut down (see TM 9-2320-

273-10).

Replace if necessary.
