Use belt tension gage to check tension.

It should be 120 Ib-ft (162 N•m) for

new belts or 100 Ib-ft (136 N•m) for

used belts. Used belts have more than

one thousand miles of use.

Install upper fan shroud; refer to para 4-41 B.
