b. Unscrew and remove from valve (7).

b. Unscrew and remove from valve (7).

Remove from dash panel.

INSPECTION OF LINES AND FITTINGS.
9. Air lines (6) and (8).
Inspect for:
Replace, if necessary.
a. Cracks.
b. Leaks.
c. Kinks.
d. Damaged threads.
C.
INSTALLATION.
10. Valve (7).
11. Two air lines (6) and (8).
12. Locknut (5).
13. Control knob (4).
14. Roll pin (3).
15. Hinged panel (2).
16. Two quarter-turn
screws (1).
D. OPERATIONAL CHECK.
17. Engine.
Start up (see TM 9-2320-273-10).
Allow pressure to reach 105-120
psi (724-827 kPa).
Install behind dash panel.
a. Coat threads on valve (7)
with liquid teflon.
b. Screw into valve (7) and
tighten.
Screw into valve (7) and
tighten.
Install by alining hole in knob
with hole in valve handle.
Push in.
Raise into position.
Tighten.
