2-47. MANUALLY RELEASE SPRING BRAKES.

a. Chock Wheels.

NOTE

This procedure should only be used when vehicle air

system is totally inoperative and vehicle cannot be

towed with rear end raised by M984E1 wrecker.

(1)

Remove wheel chocks (1) from stowage.

(2)

Place wheel chocks (1) in front and back of one wheel (2) on third or

fourth axle (3 or 4).
