PERSONNEL REQUIRED: MOS 88M, Motor Transport Operator

a.

Open Battery Box.

WARNING

Do not wear watches, rings, or other jewelry when

working in battery box. If jewelry comes in contact

with battery terminal, electrical shock and severe

burn may result.

Do not smoke or have open flame near batteries.

Batteries can expode. Battery acid is harmful to eyes

and skin.

Disconnect two rubber hooks (1).

(2)

Slide cover (2) out and up.

(3)

Hold cover (2) in place or remove cover.

b. Close battery Box.

Slide cover (2) on battery box (3).

(2)

Aline rubber hooks (1) and brackets (4).

(3)

Connect rubber hooks (1).
