Route cable so it does not drag on ground or interfere

with turning tires.

Route other end of tow light cable (36) to emergency tow lights (24) on

disabled vehicle and plug in at connector (38).

NOTE

If disabled vehicle will be lifted and towed, continue

with step

If disabled vehicle will be towed with all tires on

paved roads only, raise crosstube enough to partially

unload disabled vehicle’s front suspension. Keep

front tires in firm contact with ground and proceed

to step

Remove steering lock bracket (39) and four screws (40) from stowage.

Install steering lock bracket (39) on 90° gearbox (41) with four

screws (40).
