Front Hookup.

NOTE

This is a two-soldier task.

(1)

Prepare retrieval system for

operation (para 2-72).

WARNING

Hold crosstube when removing

springs. Crosstube may swing

and cause adapters to slide

resulting in personal injury.

(2)

Disconnect two springs (1)

from tow cylinders (2).

NOTE

Right and left towing shackles are removed the same

way.

(3)

Remove cotter pin (3), pin (4), and towing shackle (5).
