Remove two M977 front adapters (11) from crosstube (7) and place on

equipment body floor (12).

Remove lock handle (13), lock plate (14), and two M151 adapters (15).

NOTE

All four 12-ft (3.5 m) chains are the same.

Remove four 12-ft (3.5 m) chains from stowage.

Remove two 4-in. (102 mm) spacers and two 5-in. (127 mm) spacers

from stowage.

Install two M977 front adapters (11) removed from crosstube, lock

plate (14), and lock handle (13).
